About Cheese Classes
We hold regular cheese tasting classes. These cover a variety of subjects including the tradition of British farmhouse cheesemaking, pairings with various beverages and creating a seasonal cheeseboard.
Speakers range from our cheesemongers, to guests from the world of artisan food and where possible the cheesemakers themselves.
We have also opened our cheesemaking classes which we run for staff to the public, for those who are serious about developing an understanding of cheesemaking.
Unless otherwise indicated our cheese tasting classes are held at our Borough Market shop, either on the shop floor, or in our tastings room upstairs.
We typically hold between four and eight classes per month. The class schedule is updated on a quarterly basis. As alcohol is served, all attendees must be over 18 years of age.
Our cheese tasting class tickets are non-transferable and and non-refundable. If you’d like to give a class as a gift it may be better to buy a cheese class gift voucher and allow the recipient to book the class of their choice.

We frequently schedule private cheese tasting classes. Topics can be chosen from our regular listings or if you have a particular cheese interest you’d like to explore we are happy to discuss a more bespoke format.
Our private classes are intended for groups and prices start at £1500 for groups of up to 20 people. Additional guests will be charged incrementally, depending on the class format chosen. Our maximum capacity is 30 guests.
If you would like to give your guests some cheese to take home or have a reception drink on arrival we can arrange this on a pre-order basis.
We need at least 3 weeks notice to schedule a private class. To enquire about booking a private class, contact us.
