Along the way our speaker, Clem, will guide you in what to consider when selecting cheese and how to curate the perfect cheeseboard for you. She will also present her carefully curated suggested pairings and accompaniments – these may include cured meats, fresh and dried fruits and nuts, honey, crackers, breads and chutneys. You'll be given a tasting sheet with room to make notes, as well as suggested pairings to guide you as you explore which combinations you best enjoy. She will focus particularly on combining cheese with a range of soft drinks, such as Kombucha, Water Kefir, Shrubs and different teas. Attendees will be offered a 10% discount on all purchases made on the day, as well as a 10% discount in our online shop valid for one month.

This class will be hosted in the Tasting Room above our Borough Market shop. It is designed to serve as a light meal. Clem will present 6-8 cheeses in a buffet style with samples of 3-4 soft drinks, to give you an introduction to pairing cheese with non-alcoholic beverages, along with bread, crackers and accompaniments. Although no alcohol will be served, we would still advise that all attendees are over 16 years of age. Attendees will be offered a 10% discount code valid for one month on cheese purchases made in our shops or online.

Clementine joined the Neal's Yard Dairy team two years ago and has spent her time working between our shops and our maturation arches. Her work with the maturation team allows her to follow a cheese's journey from its reception to its sale on our slate. Clementine works with both soft and hard cheese and is interested in every stage of the cheeses life: from the grass the dairy animals eat to the wine we drink with our cheeseboard. Clementine studied Ecology, Agriculture and Food Science back home in France. She loves sharing her interests, talking about her work and inspiring others with her passion for the food she loves and its unique methods of production.
