Community Cheese of the Month Selection
Looking for a way to contribute to a good cause whilst eating some delicious cheese?
This selection contains the same range as our popular 'Cheese of the Month Selection' but includes a £2.50 donation to an organisation close to our hearts. For each box sold Neal's Yard Dairy will match this donation, meaning every order placed will result in a £5 contribution overall.
The recipients of this donation will rotate every few months. As is suggested in the title, the donation will go to an organisation that works to benefit a community we are closely involved with - whether that be our local community, the cheese community or the wider food community
All donations for boxes purchased in November 2021 - June 2022 will go to:
Chefs in Schools aims to transform school food and food education. In their own words, "At Chefs in Schools, we’re delivering clean, healthy, inexpensive, generation-powering, mind-opening, society-changing food in schools – and inspiring and enabling schools across the country to follow our lead.". To find out more about their work click here.
We are aiming to raise £2,000 over the festive period and look forward to sharing our progress towards this goal with our customers!
Live virtual tastings also accompany this selection, please click here for dates and details of how to join.
As the cheeses in this selection change every month you will receive the cheeses that are included in the month in which your order is delivered.
Minimum weight: 1.2 kg
Delivery Information
Standard delivery is free to most postcodes in the UK for orders over £29.50. Click here for a list of postcodes where additional delivery charges apply.
Collection from our London shops is free - choose Shop Collection at checkout.
Select your preferred delivery date at checkout. As we use third party couriers (typically DPD) we cannot guarantee the arrival day of your order but we will do our best to ensure that it arrives as close as possible to your chosen date. To be sure it arrives in time, we suggest choosing a date a couple of days ahead of when you would like to eat your cheese.
If you have ordered a cheese subscription, your second and subsequent deliveries will occur approximately 30 days after your first delivery date.
Frequently we have limited quantities of new or experimental cheeses which we introduce to our customers through this selection. This makes the selection a good choice if you want to keep up to date with the latest developments in British cheese making.

Corra Linn
milk type
Sheep
ingredients
MILK, salt, rennet
coagulant
Animal Rennet
Flavours are lightly floral and brothy, with savoury notes of roast lamb. Corra Linn has feathery, slightly grainy textured paste. When chewed the texture is creamy and succulent.

Ogleshield
milk type
Cow
ingredients
MILK, salt, rennet
coagulant
Animal Rennet
The West Country’s answer to raclette, Ogleshield is a gentle yet complex cheese, with a sweet and milky aroma and warm, savoury flavour reminiscent of chicken broth. The texture beneath the pungent pink rind is soft and pliant, and it melts beautifully.
*Please note that we occasionally sell a raw milk version of this cheese. The piece you receive will show the milk treatment involved in the batch that we send. If you have any concerns about this, please contact us prior to purchasing.

Sinodun Hill
milk type
Goat
ingredients
MILK, salt, rennet
coagulant
Vegetarian Coagulant
The yoghurty flavour of this cheese is complemented by a delicate, almost red-fruit flavour from the wrinkly, golden coloured rind. The texture of the paste is pleasantly light, almost whipped.
Minimum: 180g.

Westcombe Cheddar
milk type
Cow
ingredients
MILK, salt, rennet
coagulant
Animal Rennet
A smooth, well rounded farmhouse Cheddar from Somerset, selected for its warm, lingering flavours and happy balance of creaminess and acidity.
Clothbound with lard.
