This Month's Cheeses
The Neal’s Yard Dairy Subscription showcases three different cheeses each month, connected in some way by a location, season, recipe or occasion. And so this is Christmas, and what have we got? Well, the perfect cheeseboard to share with your nearest and dearest of course. December is here, and with it comes celebrations, good food and plenty of cheer. Those long dark evenings are lit with twinkling lights in trees, and the inviting glow of a pub fire, helping to warm even the coldest of hands. This month we have put together a selection of festive classics, that will keep everyone fed and happy. Baron Bigod, with its rich, unctuous paste is perfect for festive eating, and we have their much loved individual “baby baron” for you this year. Pop it in the middle of the table with some crusty bread and watch it disappear in an instant. Lincolnshire Poacher, a Cheddar meets Comte, can have beautiful pineapple, almost candy like notes, and is reminiscent of alpine cheeses, perfect for imagining you are après-ski. Lastly we have Colston Bassett Stilton, because what is Christmas without the Stilton really? Enjoy with mince pies, in leftover sandwiches or enjoy in chunks by itself so it can really shine. Whatever you are celebrating, we hope it is a joyful end to the year and accompanied by great company and of course, some delicious cheese. By savouring this cheeseboard, you are helping to support the makers of British and Irish cheese, preserving time-honoured cheesemaking traditions and fostering exciting new ones, too. We hope you enjoy them.Baby Baron Bigod

About the Subscription Hub
The cheese we work with is strongly founded in a sense of community, from cheesemakers sharing recipes and tips, to the shared efforts of maturation between cheesemaker and affineur, to the departments within Neal's Yard Dairy tasting and talking about cheese together on a daily basis. The NYD subscription hub aims to bring this sense of community to our loyal subscription customers - a place to discover, discuss and delight in the cheeses you receive each month.
