A Little of What You Fancy

We all know that a little of what you fancy does you good, so we've put together this small selection of four delicious British farmhouse cheeses. Go on, spoil yourself!

Many of our selections are designed for entertaining and large family meals, but this one was created with someone who lives alone or a couple in mind. If you are intending to eat the selection over a couple of sittings, it’s best to eat the St Jude first, as the harder cheeses will last that bit better over time.

Please note, if you purchase multiple selections as one order, we will amalgamate them into one large box. Please contact us if you wish to have items packaged separately. Click here to find out more about our gifting service

St Jude

Colston Bassett Stilton

Stilton is one of Britain’s best known cheeses, and the Colston Bassett that we buy has an ideal balance of fruity and floral blue veining and creamy, buttery paste.

Made with pasteurised cow's milk and animal rennet.

Lincolnshire Poacher

This cheese typically has long, sweet pineapple flavours, but it can also be rich and savoury. Generally the texture is smooth, close, and densely creamy, almost like a Comté.

Made with raw cow's milk and animal rennet.

Kirkham's Lancashire

Kirkham's Lancashire is known for its succulent-yet-crumbly texture (referred to by the Kirkham family as a ‘buttery crumble’) and its tangy, bright, full flavour.

Made with raw cow's milk and animal rennet.

St Jude

A small soft cheese with a rich buttery, savoury flavour. The texture is luxuriously light, fluffy and mousse-like.

**This cheese intentionally has a very thin mould rind. Because of this, wild moulds- spots of blue, green and grey moulds, often develop on the surface during maturation. These are especially noticeable at present. They are perfectly safe to eat and do not negatively affect the flavour of the cheese. **

Made with raw cow's milk and animal rennet.
