Celebration Cake Irish Moiled

This cake serves approximately 70 people as evening food or 100 people for after dinner, at £4.86/3.40 per person. A beautiful centrepiece for your wedding or party table, this cake comprises of hard, blue, soft and goat's cheeses made in England, Ireland and Wales, and matured by us in Bermondsey.

St Jude

A small soft cheese with a rich buttery, savoury flavour. The texture is luxuriously light, fluffy and mousselike. Diameter: 6cm

 

Gubbeen

A semi-soft washed rind cheese, Gubbeen has distinct meaty, savoury flavours and a pliant texture. It is incredibly moreish. Diameter: 19cm

Stichelton

Stichelton can exhibit a multitude of long lasting flavours ranging from green apples to beef stock. It has a juicy acidity and toasty, biscuity notes towards the rind. The texture tends to be soft and creamy. Diameter: 20cm

 

Hafod

A Cheddar cheese with a supple, golden paste and the occasional blue vein. The flavours are rich, layered, and generally less-acidic than our other Cheddars. Diameter: 25cm

 

Burr

This mature little cheese has an upfront, spicy, savoury flavour with notes of toasted hazelnut. The texture is firm and dense.
