Christmas Cheeseboard

Our Christmas Cheeseboard features all the essentials: Colston Bassett Stilton, Hafod Cheddar, a Tunworth and an Innes Log, accompanied by Orkney Oatcakes and Red Onion & Port Marmalade. Intended to serve 4-6 people, depending on what other treats you serve.

Colston Bassett Stilton

Stilton is one of Britain’s best known cheeses, and the Colston Bassett that we buy has an ideal balance of fruity and floral blue veining and creamy, buttery paste. 

Made with pasteurised cow's milk and animal rennet.

Hafod Cheddar

A Cheddar cheese with a supple, golden paste and the occasional blue vein. The flavours are rich, layered, and generally less acidic than our other Cheddars.

Made with raw cow's milk and animal rennet.


A Camembert-style cheese with a classically creamy and unctuous paste. Flavours are vegetal, truffley and garlicky.

Made with pasteurised cow's milk and animal rennet.

Innes Log

A lactic cheese with flavours of young hazelnut, bright acidity and grass. Textures are dense and fudgey and coat the mouth deliciously.

Made with raw goat's milk and animal rennet. 

Red Onion & Port Marmalade*

Piquant, full-bodied and richly savoury with red onions, mollased sugar and ruby port. Ingredients: Red Onions, Unrefined Sugar, Redcurrant Juice, White Wine Vinegar, Fine Ruby Port 5%, Fresh Garlic, spices.

Thick Oatcakes (x 2)*

Based in the harbour town of Stromness, Stockan’s Oatcakes have been baking in Orkney for over 100 years. Orkney Thick oatcakes are made with coarse oatmeal for a rough and crunchy texture. They are also ever-so-slightly sweeter than the thin oatcakes.
