Seasonal Ecommerce Sales & Service Associate
We are looking for a dynamic Seasonal Ecommerce Sales & Service Associate to join our Ecommerce team this Christmas at our Bermondsey site. This is a full time role from mid October up to the end of December and including Christmas Eve.
Based at our maturing site in Bermondsey, the successful applicant would support the permanent Ecommerce team by focusing on customer service over our busiest period.
Not everyone can make it to London to taste our cheese, have a chat with one of our cheesemongers and choose the ones they like best to enjoy with friends and family. Our goal in Ecommerce is to mirror the excellent retail experience we are known for in our shops. We do this through advising customers over the phone, email and via information on our website, newsletters and social media.
Our successful candidate will need to get to know our cheeses in order to best serve our customers. This means that we are looking for someone who loves to eat cheese and relishes the opportunity to taste through our selections regularly.
They must also be sales and customer service focused, curious and detail orientated. You will need strong organisational skills, a good working knowledge of Microsoft products, an excellent command of written and spoken English, a pass qualification in Mathematics and have a positive, can-do attitude. Though knowledge of Shopify or other Ecommerce platforms would also be an asset, full training will be provided. Previous experience in a retail or hospitality environment will stand you in good stead for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Selling cheese over the phone
- Answering customer enquiries via email and over the phone
- Providing excellent service to customers and colleagues
- Ensuring all cheese deliveries arrive on time
- Tracking courier deliveries through third party systems, email and phone
- Undertaking administrative tasks to support sales and ensure order fulfilment runs smoothly.

The role is typically Monday-Friday 8am-5pm in our Bermondsey offices, although we split the team into earlier and later shifts, and do weekend work, for the final Christmas push.
An ideal start date would be on week commencing 19th October.
