Les Enfants Sauvages came about quite by accident when founders Carolin and Nikolaus' search for a place in the sun went awry, as they got distracted by a property with 8 hectares of vines near Fitou, a coastal town in the south of the Languedoc-Roussillon.

The potential of this site was not lost on them so, leaving their respective careers in architecture and leather behind, Carolin and Nikolaus moved to France and took up Oenology. With that, Enfants Sauvages was born.
