Eggleston is a small, soft cheese with an orange, delicate rind and a gently ripening centre, made by Jake Goldstein in Nottinghamshire.

Welbeck Nottinghamshire
Eggleston is named for a Nottinghamshire farmer who lost his life during the 1766 Cheese Riot, caught in the middle while trying to protect his own goods.
We've been visiting Jake at Primrose Creamery as part of our monthly Northern Runs, tasting his cheeses and watching his progress. We are excited to now be selling Eggleston on our slate.
