Maturation Site Tour & Tasting: Saturday 3rd May 2025

This is a rare opportunity to go behind-the-scenes at Neal’s Yard Dairy to see where and how we mature cheese. Usually only offered to industry professionals, we would like to open it up to our customers to give you an insight into what we do.

No visit to us would be complete without eating plenty of cheese and the experience will include a tutored cheese tasting with drinks pairing. This session will be a relaxed, conversational introduction to British and Irish artisan cheese, balanced with detailed insight into the cheesemakers, make, milk and style of each cheese.

Where?

The tour will be held at our maturation site, housed in converted Victorian railway arches in Bermondsey, London. The nearest tube station is Bermondsey on the Jubilee line and the closest national rail station is London Bridge. We are out of the congestion zone and have parking available. Further details will be sent after sign-up, including recommendations of some of the amazing food and drink businesses that operate in our neighbourhood.

Please Note

As our maturation site is a working environment and we are a food production facility, all attendees will be required to follow Protective Gear Procedure which includes wearing shoe covers, white jacket and hair covering. Please be aware that our floors are kept wet (for humidity) so might not be an appropriate environment for all guests. You'll need to be comfortable standing and walking around for the duration of the tour. We are only able to host up to 10 guests for this event. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
